Dear Colleagues,

We have the pleasure to invite you to the fifth International Conference on Environmental Management, Engineering, Planning and Economics (CEMEPE) and to the SECOTOX Conference that will be jointly held in Mykonos island, Greece, from June 14 to 18, 2015.

The conference is organized by the Society of Ecotoxicology and Environmental Safety (SECOTOX) as well as the Department of Planning and Regional Development, University of Thessaly, the German Research Center for Environmental Health, Germany, the Sector of Industrial Management and Operations Research, School of Mechanical Engineering, National Technical University of Athens, the Division of Hydraulics and Environmental Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the Food Technology Department, Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki.

The conference is designed to encourage the exchange of ideas and knowledge between diverse groups of the scientific community concerned by current issues in environmental science, engineering, and management. As it happened in previous CEMEPE/SECOTOX conferences, the organizing committee is in contact with international scientific journals and selected articles from the conference proceedings will be published in special issues of the journals, after they are reviewed. The conference participants will be informed regarding these issues via e-mail.

All professionals, researchers, environmentalists and policy makers involved or interested in the area of the conference are invited to present papers relating to the conference topics. Indicate your preference for an oral or poster presentation. Authors are requested to submit abstracts, by e-mail as a Word file attachment to the Symposium Secretariat, by March 21st, 2015.

Selected papers of the CEMEPE 2015 & SECOTOX Conference will be published in the following international scientific journals:

Aerosol and Air Quality Research		Fresenius Environmental Bulletin
Desalination and Water Treatment		Toxicological and Environmental Chemistry

It should be highlighted that only the papers that will be presented at the conference (either oral or poster presentations) are eligible for publication in one of the special issues.
